While the incidence rate of autism spectrum disorders rises, so does the need for services.  As an autism professional since 1996, I have seen first-hand the struggles persons living with autism and their parents face.  Lack of services, confusing treatment strategies, inaccurate information in the press, and the toll on the family unit are just a small smattering of challenges families now face.
